What is Expected of Our Talent?

Working as a talent for an event staffing agency is similar to running your own business. You choose when you want to work, and who you want to work with. The only things we expect out of our talent are that they are honest, enthusiastic, outgoing and well groomed. You can do very well in this business by just following these guidelines. We will in turn do our best to help you to be as successful as you want to be in this business, and for those with a strong desire to do more in their modeling or acting careers we will provide as many contacts and information as we can to help you.

Breakdown of Policies:

  1. Don't say you can do a job until you have checked your schedule
  2. If you accept the assignment, don't break your agreement.
  3. If there is paperwork for the event, turn it in on time.
  4. Be professional
  5. Be prepared
  6. Use common sense
  7. Look professional (Make-up, clean, neat and appropriate clothing)
  8. Be on time!
  9. Do not give out information to talent from other agencies.
10. Keep your information updated

Assignment Details

You don't attract people when you're inactive, so most of these you need to be able to stand for long periods of time. Bring some food and drinks with you. It costs a lot of money for drinks and food at these events, so bring a personal cooler with you for lunch or a snack. If the event is outside, you may need sunglasses, lip balm, etc.

The clients are normally really good at giving breaks and making sure you're comfortable.

It is your responsibility to make sure you know where you're going (mapquest.com, maps.google.com, etc.) or call the location to find your exit.

Travel costs are the responsibility of the talent unless specifically noted in the Promotions page as paid.

All persons that are not on time ("on time" means you are on location, ready to work at the time listed on your booking agreement) you may be dismissed without pay or only paid for actual hours worked at the discretion of the CLIENT.

Unless otherwise notified, talent is to report to work as scheduled, regardless of weather conditions. If the event is cancelled, all talent that are on time for an assignment are paid a minimum of 2 (two) hours or the ACTUAL hours worked, whichever is greater. When the client cancels, they are also losing money due to expenses of getting ready for an event which includes their employees travel, wages, etc. Clients obviously do not want to cancel, so if they do, it is usually because of extreme circumstances.

Pay Questions

Many of our assignments are paid within a few weeks.  Assignments that require 50 or more locations can take an average time of 4-6 weeks.

We want to pay talent as quickly as possible. The quicker we pay you, the more assignments you will want.

One Last Word

You may be offered work very quickly. However, if you accept a job, then call up and cancel at the last minute, you create a huge problem for the agency and an even bigger one between the agency and the client.

No one wants to look bad and if you make the agency that has employed you for a job look bad, that agency is very unlikely to use you again. Obviously, if you are ill at the last minute, everyone will understand, as long as it doesn't happen frequently.

A fatal mistake is to accept one job and then have another opportunity come up and decide to do that instead and drop the first one at the last minute. You must stand by the commitment you have made. Professional agencies will accept nothing less. The best way not to kill your career before it gets going - make sure you are professional in your attitude and professional in carrying out your job.

Do not let the agency down and make sure that the agency's client is always happy!

We want you to be  successful,
If you are, then we are!
